The Philips Multi-User Touch Tables are equipped with IR-Touch Technology. An invisible infrared grid lies on top of the LCD screen; when this is touched by a finger even with a glove or an object the grid will be interrupted which generates touch. Based on the infrared touch principle, the Philips multi user tables can process 32 simultaneous touch points which is suitable for applications that can be controlled by multiple simultaneous touch actions.
The Touch Tables utilise the Philips 24/7 commercial screens meaning high reliability and very low power consumption which saves substantially on energy costs. The Philips Touchscreens work with all digiboard software available for touch screens and also with Windows 7 applications.
